Panther Creek Hike: Aug. 20: Summer hot enough for you? Wanna get cool by hiking to a waterfall? Panther Creek Falls is beautiful and a beckons you for a refreshing dip.
Here's the trail description: easy to moderate, with a fairly steep downhill for a short section
when we get to the falls. Distance: 7 miles round trip.
Logistics: Bring your own food and water. Running shoes are fine for this hike. Some folks
may prefer hiking sandals for getting in the water. Note: if you plan to get wet, be aware that
there is no place to change clothes, so plan to dry on the hike back out : ). Let's meet at the
church at 8 a.m. We'll plan to be back by late afternoon, probably around 5 p.m. Parents,
please plan to accompany anyone under 18 years old. This hike will be weather-permitting.
Please email Wayne Ware if you plan to join us. If you have questions, please feel free to email or you can call me at 404-213-8566.
