Backpack Bonanza was a huge success! Last Wednesday, Malachi's gave away about 400 fully stocked backpacks to Malachi's children, who are returning to school. The smiles on the faces of the children and parents say it all! We are so grateful for our many backpack partners who answered the call for backpacks and supplies. Our partners this year were: St. Patrick's parishioners, For The Kid, Keller Williams Realty - Perimeter Office, Cox Enterprises, Kingswood United Methodist Church, and Friends of Malachi's. Our awesome volunteers, led by Robin Neal, sorted and staged the backpacks for distribution. Thank you to everyone involved!
