UPCOMING EVENTS
S.P.A.R.K.S. Takes on Insurance - June 21 - choose either 10.00 a.m. or 7.00 p.m.
Ever wondered how every auto insurer claims that people who switch to them save hundreds of dollars?  How can every company be cheaper? Did you know it makes sense to shop around every three years (insurers spot and do not like people who change every year)? But then what insurance do you need? And what exactly is an "under-insured motorist"? The good news - it is these days a lot easier to shop around. We will compare our experiences. If possible, bring in your last bill. I will bring the latest Consumer Reports comparisons of insurers and some personal experiences.

Come Help Pack Lunches with Shine a Light - Thursday, July 7 at 7 p.m. in Parish Hall:
Come help, learn some things, have some fun and do what we do best, community. Many hands make light work so come one, come all on July 7 at 7 p.m. Our partner, Action Ministries, will deliver the lunches directly to the neighborhoods on July 8. These kids receive free school lunches but in the summer, they are without and hungry. Help us fill their stomachs with a healthy lunch so that bad choices are not caused by hunger on a hot summer day in 2016.

Last week, Malachi's was blessed by a visit from Anita Beaty, Director of Task Force for the Homeless and founder of Malachi's. Anita was pleased to see our operations and we were delighted to spend time with her. Malachi's is celebrating our 25th year of providing groceries to hungry people and this was a great reminder of where we began and how far we have come over the years.
