A NOTE FROM SARAH AND JULIA

A note from Sarah & Julia about children's Christian formation:

Beloved Brothers and Sisters!

Come to our ALL AGES Wednesday night program tonight! Feb. 17
Dinner at 6, program at 7.
Join us for a wonderful Lenten Evening for all the family! Our beloved Pamela Williams, catechist extraordinaire, will lead us all in a holy wondering around the story of The Found Sheep. Response opportunities will include:
  • art
  • catechesis materials
  • finger labyrinth
  • play dough
Together we will explore this story particularly in relation to our Lenten Journey.

Also, we will begin to distribute a wonderful family lenten take home packet, entitled An Illustrated Lent: Family Edition, that is filled with lenten activities for your family together time. Click here for Week 1.
Click here for coloring sheets to use with this program during lent.

Summers' Landing Outing - Pots and Singing
We had a GREAT outing this past Sunday morning to Summers' Landing!  We first gathered together with kids, parents, and catechists to decorate pots and fill bags with dirt and seed to bring to our neighbors at Summers' Landing.  As we gathered together, the children lead us in some fantastic singing!- all to share the love of Christ with one another and with our neighbors.

Leaders for Catechesis Classes:
We are delighted to share the great news that Marsha Huelsbeck will be leading Catechesis III for the season of Lent. Thank you Marsha!
Also, we are so grateful that Pamela Williams will be leading Levels I and II for the season of Lent as Josephine Richardson is away visiting family for some time. Thank you Pam!

With much love and great joy,
Sarah and Julia
