ENDOWMENT UPDATE: Calling for Trustees

Do you have passion? Do you have vision? Do you see yourself as a steward of the future of St. Patrick's? If so, then maybe God is calling you to serve as a Trustee on our newly-formed Endowment Board.

Starting with a generous gift of $250,000 last year, we hope to grow the principal in the Endowment over time through appreciation and by gifts and bequests. Trustees are responsible for managing the Endowment, and encouraging additional gifts and bequests. They are also charged with disbursing funds for capital needs of the Parish, outreach ministries and grants, and seed money for new ministries and special one-time projects.

The vestry is seeking applications for one, two and three year terms as Trustee. Qualified applicants must be:

confirmed communicants in good standing of the Parish who are not less than eighteen years of age, a regular attendant at the services of the Church in the year preceding election, and known by the Treasurer of the Parish to have made and fulfilled a stated financial commitment for church support in the year preceding election. Except for the ex officio trustees described herein, no person may serve as a Trustee while serving as a member of the Vestry of the Parish.

We are expecting to have numerous applications, so not everyone who applies will serve. Qualified candidates may submit the information (including names, biographical information and a brief explanation of their calling to serve as Trustee) to Fr. Dick by November 12, 2015.
