Thank you!

The stewardship committee is grateful for your participation in the gratitude campaign. You have demonstrated it through gratitude cards, in small group discussions, and The Gathering last Sunday evening. Our gratitude extends to all of you. We look forward to sharing some of your cards going forward.

Stewardship Sunday was canceled last week in honor of All Saints' Day. This Sunday, Nov. 9, is the new date. Please pray about how your gratitude can be expressed in giving. Stewardship cards are available in the office; they are available to be printed from our website by clicking on the link on the homepage. They can be mailed to Nicole Cone or placed in the mail box on her office door. They can be deposited in the stewardship box in the sanctuary too.

Exciting events are occurring at St. Patrick's that demonstrate the effect of gratitude through giving. Sarah Fisher and Julia Rusling assume their new positions as Associate Rector and Priest Associate on Nov. 30. The new Malachi video will be shown at the Diocesan Council this week. Good things are happening here. Think about the possibilities when we express our gratitude. William Blake said "gratitude is heaven itself".

Gratefully,

The Stewardship Committee

Wednesdays, 6-8 p.m.

Wednesday nights begin with dinner in our Parish Hall! Dinner is served 6:00-6:50 p.m. to allow participation in Adult Formation. Adult meals are $7, Youth and Children (3-12 years of age) are $5, with a Family Maximum of $20. Please email Amanda Vaughn  by the Monday before to make your dinner reservation. Fr. Richard Rohr, a globally recognized ecumenical teacher and  Franciscan priest, invites us to explore a Christian faith informed by contemplation, mysticism, compassion, justice and centuries of rich Christian history. In separate video segments Fr. Rohr stimulates thoughtful and heartfelt discussion as we delve deeply into the themes of Atonement Theology, Eco-Spirituality, the Cosmic Christ, Orthodoxy vs. Orthopraxy, and Mysticism over Moralism.

Thanks so much to Mike Cropper and his team of organizers, and to our wonderful sponsors, and players for supporting this event! And thank you to the volunteers who did everything needed behind the scenes to help run it smoothly!
