 Introducing Dr. Sobhi Malek:
 New J. Philip 
Hogan Professor

  • AGTS is proud to announce Dr. Sobhi Malek as the new Hogan Professor. 
  • The topic for his lectures will be "The Caliphate--The Islamic State: It's Origin and the Implications of its Current Ambitions." He will present three lectures in the Seymour Chapel during the Spring semester: 
    • Inaugural lecture:  Tuesday, March 8 at 11 a.m. with a reception immediately following the lecture (Great Hall)
    • Part II - Friday, March 11 at 2 p.m.
    • Part III - Wednesday, April 6 at 11 a.m.

Winter Weather


In the rare event that classes are cancelled due to severe winter weather, we will attempt to communicate the information as quickly and broadly as possible.

 

Local television and radio stations will be notified (please look for Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, not Evangel University). The Student Life office will send out an email to students, faculty, and staff, the automated recording on the phone line will be updated, and the status will be posted to the AGTS website.

Summer/Fall Registration Begins March 7
  • Summer registration must be completed
    on the Student Portal between March 7 - April 15.
  • Fall registration must be completed on the Student Portal between March 7-June 10.
  • Remember: Drops and Adds cannot be entered on the Student Portal. Please obtain the Drop/Add Form from the Registrar's Office or online.
  • If you have any questions, please contact the Registrar, Connie Cross.

  • AGTS needs your current address, telephone number, and personal email address for our records. Please update your contact information on the Student Portal when you register.

AGTS Business Office Closure
  • The AGTS Business Office will no longer be able to receive student payments after Monday, February 29. Students will still be able to remit payments through one of the following methods: 
    • Online, via the EU Student Portal
    • In-person at the Bursar's Office located on the first floor in Riggs Hall on the university campus
    • Mail checks, money orders, and related payment instruments to the address below:

Deferred Payment Dates
  • The final deferred payment for the Spring 2016 semester is due on or before March 15.
  • Payments must be received in the Bursar's Office on or before March 15 in order to avoid a $25 per month "Late Payment Fee."

  • Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, March 13.
