- Dr. Olson is the Foy Valentine Professor of Christian Theology and Ethics at Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University and the author of The Story of Christian Theology: Twenty Centuries of Tradition and Reform, which received a Gold Medallion from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association in 1999. Olson and Stanley Grenz authored the book entitled, Who Needs Theology?

2013 Alumni Phonathon
- On September 9-10, students, faculty, administrators, and staff members called over 2,100 alumni for the 11th Annual
Alumni Phonathon. It was the strongest volunteer participation since 2008! - Almost $19,000 has come in or been pledged, almost $3,000 ahead of Phonathon commitments and contributions at this time last year.
- Local businesses contributed nearly $1,900 worth of free meals, tickets, coupons, and other free items as gifts for student callers.

Improve Your Writing!
- Graduate work can be frustrating if your academic writing competency is not where is should be. We recommend
the following options depending on the level of help you need: - Have a fellow student edit your written assignments and coach you on how to improve.
- Enroll in RES 512 Acedemic Writing. Recieve a total of 13 hours of classroom instruction in a weekend module and up to 20 hours of one-to-one coaching. This one-credit course will be offered in the spring semester at half the regular tuition rate. Be sure to sign up early for spring.
