Stroll through the beautiful, willow-lined streets of Kinosaki Onsen dressed in yukata as you experience one of the most soothing hot spring towns in Japan. Explore outdoor baths in lush natural surroundings, modern indoor bathing facilities and relax within so many other peaceful settings. You will be swept away by the town's atmosphere and hospitality.
You'll work up an appetite throughout your day as you meander in and out of onsen baths so don't forget to explore the town's many restaurants where you can indulge in delicious local specialties. Be sure to try the renowned fresh matsuba crab (snow crab), handmade soba noodles, and Tajima beef.
The town takes on another form after the sun goes down. The streets are lit with the warm, ambient glow from lanterns along the river and the ryokan rooms lining the streets. Indulge in a second dessert or a nightcap before you head back to your room at our favorite ryokan, Nishimuraya Honkan.
