PYWA Small Group Grants!

Are there youth workers in your area with whom you would love to spend some time and connect? Do you need a short break from youth ministry with others who love working with teens? Do you need some money to make this dream happen?

PYWA may be able to help! We want to help you connect with other youth workers in your area! PYWA exists to support and uphold youth workers, and often that is done best when you and your peers can meet face-to-face to build community, to share joys and concerns, and to exchange ideas. Do you have an idea to connect youth workers in your area? Apply for one of our $150 grants!

Here are 10 ideas for potential Small Groups, but feel free to use your imagination!

  1. Book Group- Select a book on youth ministry to read and discuss
  2. Prayer Group- Meet to share prayer concerns and joys, and commit to praying for one another.
  3. Planning Group- Create a regional gathering for your youth groups; meet to plan shared events to take place a couple of times each year.
  4. Bible Study Group- Select a book of the Bible to read and study together, with no intention of using it for a youth study

  7. Music Group- Meet to create or listen to music as a way of re-energizing your souls.
