NEW!! SPRING BREAK WORKSHOPS
       Not going out of town the end of March?    Well we can keep your kids busy with art!  Just added, SPRING BREAK WORKSHOPS, for kids ages 5-9.  Six days, twelve sessions, two completed projects each workshop and different projects each workshop.   Cost--$25.  Dates:  March 25-28, April 1-2.  
    Let's not forget our other terrrifc workshops.  These offer busy people a wonderful way to fit in art!    Photographer Michael Steinberg can help you refine your photography skills in his monthly Digital Photography (March 16) workshops.  Available to adults and teens, he will focus on different topics with a central theme of lighting.   And. do you love jewery?  Polymer Clay Jewelry!, by Joan Rusek, is a great way to incorporate color and texture while sculpting your own beads.  Mark March 23 on your calendar and sign-up today!  Ages 10 & up welcome.

PetFix Northeast Ohio and VAC Partner
for "Creatures Featured" Gallery Exhibit
      

   This spring, the Valley Art Center will explore the wild and wonderful animal kingdom in our gallery with, "CREATURES FEATURED". For this show, we will partner with PETFIX NORTHEAST OHIO to create

  awareness and raise money for their mobile spay/neuter clinic. The 33' PetFix mobile clinic is a state-of-the-art surgery center on wheels that services 7 counties! PetFix provides a low-cost option to spay/neuter cats and dogs for those who can't afford private veterinary fees.

     We have created several programs to allow small dog people of all ages to support PETFIX! First PET PIN-UPS, a special board at VAC for you to show-off your favorite pic of your pet(s).  CLICK HERE for details so your pic can be "Pinned Up" at the VAC! SPAY IT FORWARD is another opportunity to help by donating  money to cover the additional cost to spay/neuter animals in the mobile clinic.  Donation cards will be available Opening Night and throughout the exhibit.  Finally, a DONATION BOX will be at VAC collecting the five most needed items for the clinic.  CLICK HERE for the list.

     "CREATURES FEATURED" opens Friday, April 5 from 6-8pm.  All are invited--free and open to the public.  Exhibit through May 16.
