HELP REQUESTED

If you are a carpenter, have carpenter skills, or just want to be of service, please consider helping our rangers with a construction job THIS WEEKEND (Saturday or Sunday, August 22 and 23) at Avondale Scout Reservation (ASR).

As a part of an environmental grant program, the rangers are building an Eco-Trail Walkway and Observation Deck project. This elevated walkway and observation deck will be used in part for learning and instruction. It will enable Scouts to walk through a natural habitat area, on a raised walkway as part of a place for outdoor classes. It will include identification signage for plants, trees, and animal habitat. 

The project is already under construction, as the rangers need to complete the project before the end of August, additional help from individuals, troops, or crews, would be greatly appreciated.
