UNIT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Go to www.iac-bsa.org/food to register your unit.

(You can also click on the "Scouting for Food" link at the top of the Istrouma Area Council website)

2. Inform you community (Church, Schools, etc.) that a "Scouting for Food Drive" is May 16, 2015.

3. FREE door hangers will be available to publicize the food drive for pick up at the Scout Office beginning April 20^th.

4. Between May 9^th after 4:00 pm and May 15^th, please distribute door hangers throughout your neighborhood and surrounding areas. Please wear your Field Uniform and use the buddy system to pick up donations on May 16^thbefore 10:30am.

5. A list of food banks will be provided on May 1^st for unit drop off locations.

(NOTE: Food banks are not usually open on Saturday. Food Banks participating will be open only between the hours of 10:30 am - 1:00 pm.)

6. Please fill out the Scouting for Food report form by going to http://www.iac-bsa.org/food
