The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures / July '13

Summer is not over yet!

It's still nice and cool at The Mini Time Machine Museum- the perfect place to escape the heat OR spend a rainy day. Explore the museum using one of our several themed gallery guides for a different experience each visit. Or drop the kids off at clubHOUSE so you can have some downtime. There are only three weeks of clubHOUSE left. Upcoming weekly themes include; World Games, Passport Adventures and Through the Looking Glass. If you are active-duty military, don't forget to visit the museum before September 1st for free admission for yourself and up to five family members as part of Blue Star Museums.

The annual convention of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts is taking place in Tucson right now! The Exhibit Room (free admission) and Sales Room ($5 adults/ $2 children 12 and under) are only open to the public Saturday, July 13th from 12pm-4pm and Sunday, July 14th from 11am-4pm.

There are a few dates you should put on your calendar that you won't want to miss! September 1st is The Mini Time Machine's 4th anniversary. We are celebrating with free admission from 12pm-4pm. We have a new exhibit opening in September as well. Watch for details about Netsuke and Diminutive Carvings from Japan, opening September 24th (exhibit reception September 26th). Tea Tales is back for the Fall. Both of our Spring Tea Tales sold out- don't delay to reserve your seats!

clubHOUSE is a daily, afternoon program where kids make miniature arts and crafts, play games and practice yoga and gymnastics! Activities change daily with the week's theme. The Mini Time Machine has committed to reserving funds to offer financial aid to qualified families. Help us provide this magical experience for even more youth in our community!

Kids Create Family Fun Program is designed to help youth learn about, talk about and create miniatures. This program takes place the 2nd Saturday of every month from 1pm-4pm at the museum.
