Coastal Happenings July 2015
Dear Friend of the Coast,

We hope you had a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July holiday. Whether you're still cleaning up sand or nursing a sunburn, nothing says Independence Day quite like time spent on our beautiful coast.

The coastal fun is just getting started! Our offices offer weekly events - like Touch Tank Tuesdays and coastal cruises - so you can find a date that fits your schedule.

You'll want to mark July 31 on your calendars. In the morning, we hope you attend our public forum on Offshore Drilling in N.C. State officials, coastal issue experts, residents and regulators will come together to relate their experience and views with attendees.

While you're in New Bern, plan to join us at the Pelican Awards Celebration & Silent Auction.  Select items, like this Standup Paddleboard package, are already available for early bidding. Register today to join us for this fun and casual evening.

We hope you're enjoying the Offshore Oil Series on Coastal Review Online. With your support, this in-depth investigative series is making waves - thank you!

Hope to see or hear from you soon,

With a new emphasis on digital learning, this sold-out course soared to new heights. Read more

Cycling for the Coast

Join us on Saturday, September 26 for our 5th Annual Cycling for the Coast along scenic Bogue Banks. This popular ride offers routes for the casual rider to Tour hopefuls, and is a great way to see the Crystal Coast at your own pace. This year, participants will be provided with a personalized fundraising page to invite friends and family to support coastal education and habitat restoration.
