Happy New Year! Welcome to a joyous (although well below freezing) 2014. We can't wait to spend 2014 with you and your pets, making sure we keep them happy and healthy. For starters, we are experiencing an unusually cold winter. Please keep pets inside when the temperatures dip this low. If they do venture out for a walk please bundle them up as much as they will allow.

In the month of January we will be visiting a couple of schools in the community. Dr. Williams will once again visit the kids at Creative Beginnings Pre School.

One of our technicians will give a power point presentation about veterinary medicine to the students at Prairie Middle School.

Senior Pet Health Awareness Month

Here at HEAH we love our senior pets! We've had years to build relationships with them and their owners. Just as with humans, older pets need regular check ups to prevent the onset of disease or catch the beginning of disease early enough for successful treatment.

Through January 31st we are offering special pricing for tests for your senior pets (pets 8 and older).

Many different packages are available. Please call the office at (847) 310-8668 for more details.

Meet Graydy and Rita:

We are excited to introduce the two newest editions to the Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital. Graydy and Rita literally took us by surprise when they came to our hospital, but we are so glad they have been able to become a part of our team. The two are inseparable. We are having a wonderful time getting to know these fantastic cats!

AAHA Accredited Again!!

We are proud to be AAHA accredited once more! Due to the hard work our staff has been putting in we passed our December inspection with flying colors.

Only 12% of veterinary practices nationwide are AAHA accredited. We are honored to be a part of that special group.

February is National Dental Month

It's that time of year to get your pet's teeth checked. Remember that periodontal disease is the most common disease found in animals. Pets can develop heart, liver, and kidney disease as a result of periodontal disease. . Prevention is possible through regular teeth cleaning and providing pets with the appropriate chew toys. In February we are offering
