As I reflect back on 2012, and look forward to the opportunities of 2013, I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to thank each of you for your kindness and support over the last six months as I confronted my breast cancer diagnosis and progressed through surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. There was not a day that went by that I did not have one of you check in to see how I was doing, and for that I am eternally grateful. It is with a very thankful heart that I share with you that I begin this New Year as a cancer survivor; my last treatment occurred on Dec. 21. What an amazing Christmas gift I was given this year - a reminder of the value of our life.

While I have always thought of myself as one who was aware of the importance of sharing with people how important they are in one's life, this experience has reminded me that we can never say "thank you" and "you are valuable to me" enough. And so, with that, please accept my heartfelt thanks to you. While I will remember 2012 as a year with great challenges, I also will remember it as one in which I was blessed to be surrounded by a group of business leaders who care deeply.

Here is to 2013 - with all its wonderful possibilities. I look forward to sharing it with you.

Gratefully,

Tamra
