 Distracted driving has become an epidemic in Illinois. Over 6,000 crashes were caused by some form of driver distraction involving a cellphone from 2008-2012. Thirty of them were fatal. To help prevent this deadly problem, the use of hand-held cellphones while driving on Illinois roads is now illegal, and police are out in full force.  The 19th Judicial Circuit Court and the Affordable Housing Corporation of Lake County recently launched a new mortgage foreclosure mediation program. In this video, the Lake County Recorder of Deeds interviews program representatives for an in depth look at this topic.
