Problem-Solving Courts in Lake County
The Nineteenth Judicial Circuit currently has three Problem-Solving Courts - Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and the newest addition Veterans Court. The mission of the program is to reduce crime, enhance public safety, and reduce jail populations by rehabilitating offenders and providing treatment for the underlying problems of their criminal behavior. Lake County Leaders Summit Focuses on Collaboration
More than 100 government, business, and civic leaders came together for the first ever Lake County Leaders Summit to discuss collaboration opportunities. These efforts will continue throughout March at four regional leadership roundtables. Watch Video

Charley Harper's Beguiled by the Wild: Ends Feb. 16
Experience the whimsical world of popular nature illustrator and artist Charley Harper (1922-2007) at Beguiled by the Wild: The Art of Charley Harper exhibition at the Lake County Discovery Museum in Wauconda. The exhibition also includes interactive art activities such as large-scale puzzles, tangrams and rubbing stations to make your very own prints.
