The Collins Center Report
StatNet Meeting on Municipal Purchasing

If you are a municipal purchasing agent, or work on purchasing for a municipal department, please fill out this survey by Thursday, November 6 at 5:00 pm:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/statnetpurchasing

The survey should take fifteen to thirty minutes to complete.  We will use the responses to create a presentation that will be discussed at the November StatNet event on purchasing. The event will be a series of facilitated discussions and case study presentations based on the survey responses. Please note that we use the survey responses not as a benchmarking tool, but to develop the agenda for our discussions.

Municipal Conflict Resolution Survey

You are invited to share your knowledge and insights in a statewide survey of municipal conflict resolution needs for a study commissioned by the Massachusetts Legislature. Please click the following link to complete the survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MOPC. By answering these questions, you will help determine what local governments and communities need to effectively address destructive (harmful and dysfunctional) public conflict. The survey will be open through November 7, 2014.

MOPC, the state dispute resolution agency known as the Massachusetts Office of Public Collaboration at the University of Massachusetts Boston, is conducting this study to document needs and create solutions to address those needs. For more information on the study, please visit www.umb.edu/mopc/needs.
