INDEPENDENCE DAY ~ PALMETTO BAY
|
We want you to have a blast on Independence Day in Palmetto Bay -- so don't let parking be a dud. Arrive at 5 p.m. for a great spot at one of our designated lots:
We urge you to walk or ride your bicycle. But if you must drive, street parking is available on public right-of-ways and along grassy swales throughout the Downtown District. Note: Do not park at Miami Children's Hospital -- parking spaces are for medical emergencies.
Experience Independence Day in Downtown Palmetto Bay, Friday, 5-9:30 p.m., at Village Hall, 9705 E. Hibiscus St., and along Franjo Road from US-1 to Indigo St. This rain-or-shine event is free and to the public. Please read more. Fireworks launch from Palmetto Bay Park, so prime viewing is along Franjo Road. Please see event map. Arrive early to stake out the best spot to watch the fireworks. Note: Please respect fall-out zone barricades in place for your safety.
All the action starts at 5 p.m., so arrive on time to enjoy live music, games, rides, plenty of food, cold drinks -- and a hot-dog eating contest. Have a safe and pleasant Independence Day in Downtown Palmetto Bay.
