Village Earth Week Continues
The Celebration continues -- Earth Week in Palmetto Bay! Last Sunday, hundreds of South-Dade residents enjoyed our Bike Ride & Rodeo, we have released nearly 75,000 ladybugs into local schoolyards, we have a winner in our Poster Contest, and we are far from finished. Two more major events are planned before the week is out: Friday's Movie Night and the Free-Tree Give-Away on Saturday. Don't forget to take the "Mayor's Challenge," an easy online pledge to reduce water consumption -- with a chance to win prizes. Good luck -- and enjoy!
