ABILENE, Kan. - The Arts Council of Dickinson County is hosting a Valentine concert on Saturday, February 7 at the Eisenhower Presidential Library Courtyard.
Les Lankhorst, a professional vocalist and entertainer from Salina, Kan., is the featured artist. He has performed favorites from Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond and Elvis Presley to international audiences. Lankhorst's live band includes regional musicians Tim Johnson on drums, Gayle McMillen on keyboard, and Jesse Smith on bass.
A dessert buffet by AppleMint Catering features red velvet cupcakes, pecan pie bites, and tiramisu. Bar service available by cash donation.
The event begins at 7 p.m. Tickets must be purchased by noon on Wednesday, February 4th by calling 785-263-1884. Tickets for Arts Council members are $20 each/$35 per pair. Non-members may purchase tickets for $25 each or $40 per pair.
