Dr John Purchase awarded as National Agriculturalist of the Year

  

Dr John Purchase, Agbiz CEOAgricultural Writers SA awarded Dr John Purchase, Agbiz CEO, as National Agriculturalist of the Year at prestige function last Friday evening in Johannesburg.
 

In the nomination Dr Purchase is described as someone who has during his career constantly adapted to the changing agricultural landscape, both locally and internationally. He enthusiastically embraces changes that will improve agriculture as a whole, while still cherishing the wisdom that still rings true after decades.

 

SARS Proposed 2013 amendments   

   

Harbour CustomsSouth African Revenue Service (SARS) will implement tariff book changes as from the 1 January 2013.  The changes will represent: deletions; substitutions; or insertions.

SARS is inviting comments on the projected changes.  Comments may be sent to mmaphosa@sars.gov.za by Thursday, 15 November 2013.
