Dear Clients and Friends,
 
I can't believe it's December! Just a couple of quick updates since we are getting into the busiest season of the year and I'm sure you've got plenty to do.
 
Due to popular demand, I will be adding additional group exercise classes in January and will post them on my Mind Body schedule site, so stay tuned. If you and a few friends want to form your own class of 3-5 people, just ask and I will make it happen!
 
Pretty please like my Facebook page if you're on Facebook. I have lots of cool photos, announcements re. special classes and events, giveaways, and health and fitness information! Oh yeah, and shameless self-promotion.

Contest Details
 
IDEA Health and Fitness Association has informed me that I am a finalist to win exposure in a marketing campaign to help promote their educational videos. 

All I need to do now is send a photo depicting how I "inspire the world to fitness" -- their tagline. Here's how you can win 2 free training sessions or $100:

1. Tell me how I have inspired you to fitness. Post your story on my business Facebook wall or send me an email

2. If you include a fitness-related photo of yourself and win, I will increase the prize to 3 sessions or $150

The winning entry will be a descriptive and creative story which inspires yet more people to fitness. While I will probably not use any of your photos as my official entry, YOUR story will inspire ME to come up with a winning (hopefully) idea for my photo entry. By entering, you also give me permission to use your stories and photos in my marketing materials. 

Entries due by Monday morning.

My Only Holiday Tip

You've probably read a dozen or more tips on managing control around temptingly delicious holiday food while trying to avoid the usual weight gain. You probably don't want to read another article about filling up on soup and veggies before you go to a party, or bumping up your daily exercise session by 30 minutes to offset extra calories. 

 

So here's my advice: just eat what you want. You're an adult and understand the consequences. If not, a reminder: if you eat more, you'll gain weight and I will hear about it in January. If you eat the same, you'll maintain. And if you eat less and lose weight by New Year's, you'll be the envy of every last one of your friends.

 

Either way, I'll be here in January waiting for you to visit my "torture chamber"!
