We're Celebrating --

Because today is World Digestive Health Day.

Yep, it's true. There really is a day to celebrate that wonderful system that runs from gum to bum fueling our minds, bodies and lives.  This is THE day to make positive changes for better digestive -- and overall -- health.

In honour of this day, we want you to Love Your Tummy. Love Your Tummy is a global educational campaign initiated by the World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO). The CDHF has partnered with the WGO to bring you LoveYourTummy.ca. This new site is a dedicated to providing you with practical, proactive tips to develop and maintain a Tip Top Tummy.

What are you going to do today (+ EVERY day!) to protect and enhance YOUR digestive health?

Tummy Trivia - Gassy Gut

If you are like most people, you likely share a musical toot or silent and stinky bomb somewhere between 9 - 13 times a day.  Although we hate to admit it, it's true.  If you suffer with gas on a regular basis, often feel the urge to pass wind, or pass wind that is foul-smelling, a number of factors could contribute to this.

Check out our tips on how to  bring your tummy back in balance.

You are not alone...Love Your Tummy

Most of us will suffer at least one digestive disorder this year. Because people are uncomfortable talking about the symptoms and stigma associated with their bowels, important conversations are stopping before they begin.  As a result, the life-changing and often devastating impact of digestive disease on Canadians remains undiscovered or worse -- ignored.  This unnecessary and unacceptable. The CDHF can help you protect and enhance your digestive health.

The Canadian Digestive Health Foundation provides expert advice and compassionate support to the millions of Canadians who suffer from digestive diseases. We rely on donations from the public to support our educational initiatives that help reduce the devastating impact of digestive disease, improve quality of life, enhance education, and fund critical research. To ensure our continued success, please consider making a tax deductible donation. This link will take you to our donation page.  Thank you.
