Write your representative in the Massachusetts House TODAY. The bill is in the House Ways & Means Committee. Read more about the legislation, including a draft letter of endorsement that you can customize, on our blog. You can find your rep through a link on the blog as well.
Read about it from the sponsoring Senator, Brian A. Joyce, at his blog. The legislation recently passed in the Senate and is now in the hands of the House. It will galvanize renewables and efficiency project deployment throughout the state.
Thank you to John Dimodica on our Advocacy Committee for leading on this campaign.

Green Apple Day of Service is coming 9/27/14
Organize a service project at your school!
The USGBC started the Green Apple Day of Service in 2012 to advance healthy, sustainable schools for all students in America (and beyond). This is a great opportunity for our green building community to come together and support our communities. We had over 50 projects in Massachusetts in 2013. Let's have more this year!
A service project can be as simple as a natural area clean-up effort, or as complex as building a schoolyard garden or performing an energy audit on an entire school. Read more about how to do one at your school at our website.
You can apply for your project to be funded through a generous partnership with NStar, for a mini-grant to focus on energy efficiency. Your firm could also sponsor a mini-grant and make a real difference in your community - contact Steve Muzzy at smuzzy@usgbcma.org if you would like to learn more about this opportunity.
