Beyond Buildings 5/20/14
A Review of LEED for Neighborhood Development in Massachusetts
This exciting program will look at sustainability beyond individual buildings to the district and neighborhood scale. How is the USGBC's LEED ND rating system being used as a tool for enhancing communities in Massachusetts? How can our USGBC MA community of green building practitioners move beyond single building projects to entire neighborhoods and districts? How are government, for-profit and non-profits using LEED ND as a tool for enhancing sustainable development? This workshop will answer these and many other questions through a review of people and projects in Massachusetts that have used LEED ND as more than just a sustainable development certification program.
Thank you to our many sponsoring partners for their support: | APA MA | LISC Boston | MAPC | MA Smart Growth Alliance | CHAPA | Central Mass Regional Planning Commission | BSLA |CNU New England | Mel King Institute
When: Tuesday, May 20th, 2014, 8am to 12pm

These sessions also act as an introduction to The Regenerative Practitioner Series, currently enrolling its 2014 class. For more information on the TRP series, please contact Andrea Atkinson or go to the Regenesis Group website.
