West Branch Green Eggs: Energy Modeling Discussion

This Green Eggs will provide an introduction into energy modeling. The presenters will discuss a range of topics including: the existing conditions model, "true up", developing improvements, programs and codes that require energy models, how to use the energy model as a financial analysis tool, Modeling and LEED. Presenters: Ted Mendoza and Benjamin Todd.

This in-person webinar will reveal the value in conducting a home performance audit. We will discuss the components of comprehensive audit and the valuable information that is discovered throughthe key performance tests, inspections and analysis.

Home performance audits are key to assessing a home's current performance and identifying the source of inefficiencies, durability issues and any hazards. Upfront performance tests, inspections and analysis allow you to get the facts. Having the facts empowers homeowners and remodel professionals to make meaningful and successful improvements.  This session is approved for 1.5 hours of General (Not LEED Specific) GBCI hours as well as 1.5 AIA/CES SD/HSW/LU hours.

LEDs are often a greener lighting option, but selecting the best and avoiding the worst can be tricky. During this Best of Greenbuild 2012 webinar, lighting experts from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory walk through how to evaluate LED products against other lighting options, considering such features as lumens-per-watt, color, distribution, glare control, controllability, upgradability, and payback. Walk away armed with knowledge and tools to determine if LED lighting is appropriate for your projects, and to specify the best LED products for your specific project goals.
