Father Andy has been feeling bad for several weeks and just couldn't shake. He thought it was a cold but instead of getting better he was getting steadily worse. He went to the doctor today and found that he has "Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever", a tick-born disease. It usually responds well to antibiotics, and it it not transmittable person to person. It usually has no long-term complications. He is now on antibiotics and lots of fluids to stay hydrated. Hopefully his body will respond well to the antibiotics and he will start to feel better soon.
