 One of the most useful jewellery components is a ready made chain; perfect for hanging a simple pendant or an easy and effect way of creating a stunning necklace. We've created this necklace with the lovely Scarab beads and new Scarabaeus Green Xilion beads utilising the new silver plated trace chain, simply cut in half and connected to each side - Done! Also available in Rose Gold and Gold Plated and in a fine curb chain.

 Another great addition to our Czech glass bead range is 8 colours of the versatile Pinch bead. These lovely 5mm x 3mm beads with a triangular profile are great for weaving together to create wonderful geometric shapes. We're already working on new workshop design so watch this space.

 Next Saturday (30th April) we welcome Suzanne Plamping to The Bead Shop to teach two workshops on Bobbin Lace. The workshops incorporate basic traditional techniques into simple designs, making either a brooch or Bracelet. An ideal way to get to grips with a new craft and build your confidence.
