Greetings!

Welcome to our September newsletter, I can't believe summer is almost over and people have started to think about Christmas already! I personally like to wait until the weather has turned cold before even thinking about presents but I know a lot of you have started your Christmas making already so we have a few new festive products in this issue. Tickets have also gone on sale for the annual Nottingham Bead & Craft Show along with the ability to book free and paid workshop places.
A taster of new SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS
null We're eagerly awaiting the new Swarovski product launch next month, it's exciting to be able to see products up close, however we couldn't wait for the new Blackberry pearls. They sounded delicious, so we ordered them in straight away! We think they add a great warm tone to any piece of jewellery this Autumn.

Texturing Hammer
A really useful hammer that will allow you to texture your work or harden and flatten your wire jewellery. It comes complete  with 6 smooth changeable heads and 6 textured heads to allow you to customize your work.
  
Cog Charms & Angel wings
null These new angel wing beads come in both an antique silver and a rose gold finish, perfect for using in both decorations and jewellery pieces.

The cog charms are available in four different platings, click here to view, allowing for lots of different designs. We have designed a simple Steampunk style bracelet to showcase the cog charms. Click on the image below to view full project instructions.

Snowflake forms
Bead your own Christmas decorations with these wire snowflake forms. Decorate with beads of your choice and finish each arm of wire by creating a small loop or bend the arms upwards to create pretty drop shapes.

The Nottingham Bead & Craft Show 2013
null The show is on Sunday 24th November 2013 at the Gateway Hotel. We are running free simple workshops and demos, as well as paid workshops. We'll also be running our popular jewellery competition, have fairtrade refreshments on offer and plenty of  traders will be selling beads and jewellery making supplies, cakes, made up jewellery & Christmas gifts.

The winner of our 2012 beading competition was Patty McCourt with her submission called 'Purple Rain'. Learn how to enter our competition here.
