INDIA REPUBLIC DAY
India Republic Day

India Republic Day is celebrated every January 26 to mark coming into force of Indian constitution. It is one of three national holidays in India.

The main Republic Day celebration is held in the national capital, New Delhi with great pomp, fanfare and pageant. The Republic Day celebrations of India have rightly become world famous as one of the greatest shows on earth.

Since 1950, India has been hosting heads of state or government of another country as the state Guest of Honor for Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi. In 2015, President Barack Obama will travel to India as chief guest for India's Republic Day celebrations
