Frog Folic

The Mark Twain Library's 21st Annual Frog Frolic is just around the corner! The Frog Frolic,  one of Redding's most cherished traditions for children, is a major fundraiser for the Library. This country fair, held at the Community Center, offers inflatables, entertainment, food, games and fun!

Register online at HiTekRacing.com/JBHSColorRun or at the door on the day of the race. Pre-registration is $30, or $35 on the day of the race. Registration and sign-in begins at 8:30am and the race begins at 10:00am. Proceeds will go to The Pilot House, the JBHS Student Council, and the Class of 2018.

Donations of refreshments are needed.

Art Supply Drive

4th Annual Art Supply Drive at SSES/HKMS/JBHS 
April 5th - May 30th, 2016

What began as a one-time fundraiser to collect art supplies for a Bridgeport elementary school is now in its 4th year.  Beardsley Elementary will benefit from your generous donations this year.

As in past years, there will be drop-off boxes at SSES, HKMS and JBHS. The goal is to have parents/students purchase some art supplies and drop them off for collection. All the collected supplies go to the Beardsley Elementary school in Bridgeport and, last year, the art teacher at Beardsley opened the program to a few other Bridgeport Elementary schools as they are all in need of art supplies.
 
Supplies needed are: colored markers & pencils; crayons; tempera paints/paint brushes; beads/string; construction paper/glue/scissors; stamps/pads of ink; gently used supplies are also welcome
