As our shared tradition so eloquently teaches, "Im ein kemach, ein Torah: without our physical needs satisfied, Torah does not thrive." With this as my guiding rubric, I am pleased to report that the new Lunch Program that we initiated this year with J Caf Kosher Catering is proving to be a real success. Read More...

 Health News From Nurse Lynn!
Nurse LynnSelf Diagnosing on the Internet
Be cautious when gathering information from the internet.
We now shop, network, fact find, and even seek soul mates on the internet so, why not self diagnose?  Yehuda Levy, one of our former students, did just that recently when his symptoms seemed to fit all the characteristics of Type 1 diabetes.
 Alumni Corner
HA Alumni Saves his Own Life!
Yehuda Levy, Class of 2011, diagnosed himself with type 1 diabetes!

There is a note of amusement in the voice of Ronald Tamler, MD, as he tells the story of the young man who came into his office and announced he had type 1 diabetes. But mixed with the amusement is admiration.
