New Student recruitment is a community effort!
Recently a group of area Admissions Directors got together at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation's (GMJF) Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE) to discuss trends and concerns related to new student recruitment. A primary concern each Admissions Director shared was ensuring that Jewish children attend and remain in the Jewish Day School system. Read more...

Early Childhood Update
Exciting Developments in Early Childhood!
I am ecstatic to share with you the latest developments in our division. Let me begin by telling you that all ECE classrooms received a complete makeover since the start of this school year: new flooring, new furniture and equipment, new rugs, new refrigerators, new toys and manipulatives, etc. This has made a tremendous impact in the quality of care of our students. In addition, our classrooms are now conducive to purposeful and engaging learning in all areas. Read more...

MS Students Inspired by UM Miller School Student Volunteers!
"Does anyone know how we love?" A visiting medical student posed that question to the sixth grade girls' science class. Sixth grader Natalie Alishayev, eagerly answered, "We love with our brains not our hearts!" Questions flew and "Oohs" and "Aahs" were heard all day as Middle School students were given an exciting hands-on lecture from first and second year medical school students from the University of Miami Miller School's innovative Community Outreach and Teaching Services (COATS) program. High School Students in Basic Training!
HS students experienced incredible program of army training and Krav Maga!
During the afternoon of RASG JUMP team's Israel Appreciation Day, on Monday, February 3, the High School students experienced an incredible program of army training and Krav Maga - a version of mixed martial arts invented by the Israeli Defense Forces. The RASG JUMP team partnered with Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces (FIDF), who provided the resources for the Krav Maga and army training. Read more...

Kids Cross Finish Line at Miami Marathon!
A Group of Elementary School students participated in the KIDS Run Miami!
Last month, at the Lifetime Miami Half Marathon, Coach Huberty had the rewarding experience of being a coach to a very special group of 2nd to 5th graders from the Hebrew Academy, named "The Super W's" (for Warriors), who participated in the Kids Run Miami Marathon. Coach Huberty had heard about this unique kids run from his work in the running industry and wanted to inspire kids at the school where he coaches... Read more...
