Independence Day Celebration Returns to Roselle on July 3
The tradition of fireworks is returning to Roselle again this summer on Sunday, July 3 at Lake Park High School West Campus, 500 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. Planned festivities include a "Party in the Park" hosted by Mission Church, with live music from WeAreMission starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by Beatles cover band American English at 6:30 p.m. The fireworks display, jointly sponsored by the Exploding Turkey Trot 5K, the Roselle Lions Club, and the Village of Roselle, will begin at dusk.

In addition to being a community celebration, "Party in the Park" promotes awareness of Mission Church's community outreach ministry Project Just Start. The goal of Project Just Start is to provide backpacks fully loaded with school supplies to children from local families facing economic challenges in the area that Mission Church has designated "The 10." The 10 includes the communities of Addison, Bartlett, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Hanover Park, Itasca, Medinah, Roselle, and Wood Dale.

More information about the Independence Day celebration is available on the Village's website at www.roselle.il.us/fireworks.
