Rain Barrels for Sale in the Village Clerk's Office
|

Rain barrels are available for purchase from the Village Clerk's office for $85. Be prepared for spring; a quarter inch of rain falling on the average home yields over 200 gallons of water. A rain barrel will catch runoff from your home to store it for future outdoor use.
Rain barrels reduce stress on our creeks and rivers, help recharge our local water supply, protect our streams and rivers from run-off pesticides and fertilizers, provide mineral-rich and chlorine-free rainwater for gardens and houseplants, and are sealed to be safe and insect resistant.
The 55-gallon rain barrels available for purchase from the Village come in black, blue, grey, or terra cotta colored recycled food-grade plastic, and are 21 inches in diameter and 34 inches tall. Proceeds from the sale of rain barrels helps fund the treatment of ash trees against Emerald Ash Borer infestations in Roselle and for reforestation efforts following ash tree removals.
Rain barrel order forms are available for at Village Hall and on the Village Clerk's web page. Call the Village Clerk's office at (630) 671-2802 for more information about rain barrels.
