Art Day with Bishop Goff
Being Co-creators with God: Bringing Order out of Chaos
In the beginning, God created all that is by bringing order out of the chaos. We, as co-creators with God, strive to do the same over and over again. In this Art Day with Bishop Susan on April 18 at Roslyn Retreat Center, we will reflect on the first Genesis creation story in Bible study, in conversation and in creating with found objects. No experience is required. A wide variety of materials, found objects and tools will be provided. If you have a stash of objects that you'd like to share - buttons, bottle caps, tin cans, doll eyes, pen caps, whatever - please bring them. We may begin in chaos, but the creations that emerge from it will be surprising. The cost is $45 and includes lunch and materials. Learn more.

Generational Giving
Christ Church, Spotsylvania

Are you wondering why 40-somethings don't pledge and volunteer like parishioners in older generations? When you try communicating with 20-somethings about stewardship, do you feel like you're speaking different languages?  Each generation understands differently the meaning of money, the impact of faith and church, and their own capacity for changing the world.

Join us on April 18 as we address these questions and many more, as well as send you out with tools to speak effectively to the six different generations in your pews. Learn more and register.
