Need to Know

This summer, the diocesan offices will follow our tradition of closing at noon every Friday in August. An on-call staff member will be available to assist you on time-sensitive matters at 800-DIOCESE.

How is your church and community responding to today's immigration crisis? Is your church involved in discussion, prayer or action? What about local non-profit or social service organizations? Do you have any resources on the subject to recommend? Please contact Emily Cherry at echerry@thediocese.net with your submissions. For more info on the diocesan response to issues of immigration reform, please see two resolutions passed at the 2014 Council: R3 toward a just and reasonable reform of the immigration system and R5-s on Virginia legislation to assist immigrants.

If your church has members going to college, the Higher Education Committee would love to have their names so they can invite them to come to Canterbury/Episcopal Campus Ministry.
