Stewardship of Creation Committee

At the 219th Annual Council, Resolution 4-S called for members of the Diocese of Virginia to prayerfully consider the merits of "green church" initiative. The resolution identified the  Stewardship of Creation Committee (SoCC) as "an important resource for congregations seeking to make their operations environmentally benign, or more 'green,' as well as less costly."

Visit the SoCC's website and blog for green church resources, information and educational opportunities, or subscribe to their weekly newsletter.

Rectors/Vicars/Priests-in-Charge: Please take this survey to help the SoCC assess and refine their resources for helping congregations become better stewards.
