Diocesan Annual Giving Workshops Members of the diocesan Committee on Stewardship will facilitate workshops on annual giving using The Episcopal Network for Stewardship's 2014 materials, "Walking the Way." Diocesan Planned Giving Workshop - July 12, Grace, Kilmarnock Facilitated by Karl Mattison, executive director of the Presbyterian Endowment Education & Resource Network, this workshop will discuss how planned gifts to the church help ensure a future that will help serve as a testament of your values for generations. The Office of Mission and Outreach provides $250 to an individual or $500 to a church to support short-term mission trips. The Association of Anglican Musicians will host a Clergy Day at Virginia Theological Seminary on June 18, with a special panel discussion and guest speaker the Rev. Dr. Francis Wade. The theme of the day will be "Clergy and Musicians: A Shared Ministry." Learn more and register.
Celebrate the ministry of all women on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of Women's Ordination with the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania at Temple University in Philadelphia, July 26. Folks from the Episcopal communications world are gearing up for a campaign on June 29 called Social Media Sunday. The idea is to make the "Good News go viral," and for the hashtag #Episcopal to trend on Twitter, Facebook and beyond.
