Ordination to the Diaconate - June 7, St. Paul's, Richmond

Diocesan Annual Giving Workshops  
Members of the diocesan Committee on Stewardship will facilitate workshops on annual giving using The Episcopal Network for Stewardship's 2014 materials, "Walking the Way."  The first workshop will take place June 21 at St. James', Warrenton. Diocesan Planned Giving Workshop - July 12, Grace, Kilmarnock  

Facilitated by Karl Mattison,  executive director of the Presbyterian Endowment Education & Resource Network, this workshop will discuss how planned gifts to the church help ensure a future that will help serve as a testament of your values for generations.  Learn more.

On behalf of Bishop Johnston, the Rt. Rev. Dixie C. Taclobao, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Central Philippines, will ordain the Rev. Bernard Yu Yung to the sacred order of priests on Saturday, May 31, at St. Stephen's Parish, Manila, Philippines.

The Association of Anglican Musicians will host a Clergy Day at Virginia Theological Seminary on June 18, with a special panel discussion and guest speaker the Rev. Dr. Francis Wade. The theme of the day will be "Clergy and Musicians: A Shared Ministry." Learn more and register.    

The Episcopal Service Corps is a network of young adult service programs across the United States. ESC provides opportunities for young adults to spend a year working for social justice, deepening spiritual awareness, discerning vocation and living in community. "American's Best Storytellers" is coming to Richmond, May 30 - June 1. In addition to nationally acclaimed storytellers, the event will host local storytellers, including the Rev. Melanie Mullen of St. Paul's, Richmond. Net proceeds from the event will go to Stop Hunger Now.
