You've heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and maybe you're even familiar with Small Business Saturday. But this year, we invite you to join us in a new celebration: Giving Tuesday. We're counting down as we prepare to build up support for the Mustard Seed Fund, the Diocese of Virginia's powerful outreach grant program. Stay tuned for more info on this giving opportunity - and learn more about how to apply for Mustard Seed Grants. More Online: thediocese.net and givingtuesday.orgStarting on Sunday, Dec. 1, we'll bring you a series of original Advent reflections, prayers, poems and artwork created by lay and clergy leaders from across the Diocese. Each day on the DioDocs blog you'll find a link to the readings for the day, plus a submitted reflection or essay. We'll also include links to additional resources for celebrating and contemplating the season of Advent. We hope you'll join us in this journey. #AdventDioVa More Online: diodocs.wordpress.comThe diocesan offices will be closed starting at noon today, and will reopen on Monday, Dec. 2. Have a blessed and joyous Thanksgiving! |
