GoTaP Consulting EventsGoTaP Consulting is pleased to offer creative Annual Giving workshops in August and September. Each workshop will provide everything you need to develop an inspiring narrative budget and a time line incorporating innovative plans for building a highly effective annual campaign. You will leave with plans for your 2013 campaign to present and celebrate the reason for giving, reflecting your life-changing ministries. The workshop will focus on communication, relationship building and financial capacity.

Workshops will be held from 6-9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring dinner if you do not have time to eat before the workshop begins. There is a charge of $25 per person for the first three people; there is no charge for the fourth person from each church.
The workshops are open to all churches and we encourage each church to send three to four people representing the vestry, stewardship committee and clergy. The workshops are being partially funded by the Diocese of Virginia's Bishop Peter James Lee Endowment for Small Church Revitalization, benefiting churches with an average Sunday attendance of less than 200.

On the Horizon: Other Programs & Announcements
The Diocese of Southern Virginia and the Diocese of Maryland have partnered together to host "Essential Building Dimensions," a program for formation leaders in the Episcopal Church., Aug. 23-24 at Virginia Theological Seminary.
Register by July 31 to reserve your spot.
The Central Virginia Chapter of the Leadership Program for Musicians, a continuing education program, is now accepting registrations for the 2013-2014 academic year, with a focus on conducting, liturgy and teaching new music and philosophy. Visit lpm-va.org for details, and register by Sept. 1 to avoid late fee.
Prepare/Enrich Facilitator Training will take place on Aug. 9 at St. Andrew's, Richmond, with the Rev. Deacon Barbara Ambrose. Register and learn more. Ambrose will also host a couple's workshop at St. Andrew's on Aug. 17. Contact her at cats4cats@comcast.net for more info.
Certification ("core") training in Godly Play, usually conducted over a three-day weekend, will be offered this fall in Alexandria over three Saturdays, Sept. 21, Oct. 12, and Nov. 16, at St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School.
