Diocesan Events
  • The Diocese of Virginia and Shrine Mont will host one final discernment gathering, an opportunity to talk about the future of our camps. By coming together as a diocese, we provide a vital ministry for our children's formation. By coming together, we will better plan for our children's future at camp. The discernment gathering originally scheduled for October 29 at St. John's, West Point has been consolidated with another nearby gathering. We encourage all those in the Northern Neck area to attend the discernment gathering on Tuesday, October 30 at Grace, Kilmarnock at 4:30 p.m.

Mission & Outreach Day

You're invited to come together with churches from across the Diocese to share stories, engage in discussion and learn about mission opportunities and events.

Do you run your church's food pantry, free clinic or other local outreach ministry? Or do you have a passion for international mission?

Come and share! Listen and learn from others who are doing similar work.
Come and hear about the various mission and outreach ministries within the Diocese. We will also break into groups based on location and type of mission service. It will be an opportunity to share experiences, learn from one another and to formally organize Ministry Teams. We need your input to discuss ways to nurture and grow parish mission in the Diocese of Virginia.
