Current IT stats and trends impacting the enterprise

 Here are some interesting findings from recent industry surveys and reports.
- On average, IT departments spend $96 a month on data fees for each mobile worker.
- Of the 72% of enterprises with enterprise mobility strategies in place, only 37% of IT managers think their company's mobile strategy is effective.
- 62% of employees think it's acceptable to transfer corporate data to their personal computers, tablets, smartphones and cloud file-sharing apps.
- Spending on data center outsourcing totals $21 billion, up from $16 billion in 2011, and increasing to $26 billion in 2013.

 Advocate Consulting wishes to thank all of our clients and supporters for making 2012 such a success! With the rebranding of our company early last year, customers looked enthusiastically to Advocate Consulting (formerly Advocate Networks) to provide solutions for their Cloud, Mobile, Communications and Collaboration initiatives. Overall, our combined business (consulting and managed services) increased by an impressive 20%. Our top five vertical markets were: business services, financial, manufacturing, retail and technology. We also had three employees celebrate major milestones in 2012. Tom McLean, Principal Consultant, was recognized for 10 years of service with the company. Rob Stewart, Principal Consultant and Suzanne Rhodes, Consultant, were each recognized for five years of service.
