The Lady With All The Answers
For decades, newspaper columnist and Chicago icon Ann Landers dispensed wit and wisdom to lovelorn teens, confused couples, and others in need of advice. Now she finds herself writing a column
about a new kind of heartbreak - her own. Drawn from her life and letters, this touchingly comic portrait will remind you why so many put their faith in this wise, funny, no-nonsense woman.
Featuring Christine Crawfis as Eppie Lederer (aka Ann Landers).
"...folksy, funny, straightforward and validating...a smile-inducing, tear duct-activating reunion with a woman who might have been a stranger but seemed like family...engaging from beginning to end." L.A. Times.
"David Rambo's new one- woman play...[about] the witty, bubbly, frank, and slightly eccentric writer...provides a compelling portrait of her." BackStage West.
General admission at the door. $15 (Woodland Pond residents - $12)
