SHARE Participates in Latina Survivorship Study funded by PCORI
SHARE is proud to be part of an important initiative headed by Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center to study a quality-of-life intervention program targeting Latina breast cancer survivors and their caregivers. Become a SHARE Ambassador!
Are you interested in using your experience with breast or ovarian cancer to make a difference? SHARE is looking for African-American breast and ovarian cancer survivors to become SHARE Ambassadors, to educate women in African-American communities about breast and ovarian cancers. A small stipend is available. Please contact SHARE Breast Cancer Program Director Christine Benjamin at 212.937.5586 or cbenjamin@sharecancersupport.org.
Try this Cooling Recipe
for Summertime!
If you are on a neutropenic diet, you can't eat raw fruit. It has to be cooked. In the summertime this can be a little depressing, but don't despair! The blueberries in this yummy iced dessert are cooked first into homemade compote, to make a simple fruity dessert everyone can enjoy, in or out of treatment.

Make Blueberry Compote Granita using this recipe brought to us by Cook for Your Life.
