SHARE Supporting Ovarian Cancer Dream Team
SHARE has joined The Ovarian Cancer Dream Team, which was launched by Stand Up To Cancer to fund research projects to fight ovarian cancer. Stand Up to Cancer's funding partners include The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF), Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA), and National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC).

Stand Up To Cancer dream teams bring together leaders from across disciplines, institutions and specialties to fight cancer.

If you would like to contribute to the fund through SHARE, please contact Kari Reynolds, Development Director, at 212.927.5581 or [email protected].

In Remembrance of a SHARE Legacy Society Member
We're saddened by the loss of Rona Brozen of Flushing, Queens, who passed away last December at the age of 64. A 1971 Queens College graduate and Dept. of Labor retiree, Rona moved to Florida to be near family. Rona was a member of the long-time SHARE affiliated Zook family, and as a member of our Legacy Society, she included our ovarian cancer program in her estate plans. We greatly appreciate her support, which will help us serve many women in years to come.

If you have any questions about making a bequest, or including SHARE as a beneficiary on an insurance policy or annuity, please contact Kari Reynolds, Development Director, at [email protected] or 212.937.5581.

Pink and Teal
What do employees at Verizon, Disney and NY Magazine have in common?

They've all had the opportunity to attend a free Pink and Teal Seminar in their workplace. In one hour, through the unique perspective of healthy survivors, they learned about breast and ovarian cancer awareness including symptoms, risks, risk reduction, diagnosis, good doctor-patient relationships and much more. At the end of the program, they were educated and empowered about their health!

To schedule a seminar or for more information, contact Arlene Matlick at 212.221.1593 or [email protected].
